Unibet launches new poker client, announces biggest ever promotion to celebrate

Unibet Poker 2.0 and 'Around The World' promo available from December 1st

Unibet today announced that its brand new software client will be available in all markets on December 1, 2016. The release will see the second generation of their award-winning* software, officially known as 'Unibet Poker 2.0', available on desktop, tablet and mobile from launch. To celebrate the launch, Unibet Poker are also running their biggest ever promotion – 'Around the World' – which will award over €250,000 in prizes, including the major prize of a 28-day trip for two, flying business class, to visit the Seven Wonders of the World.

PLAYER EXPERIENCE AT THE FOREFRONT

Unibet Poker 2.0 was built with the poker player as the main focus – from visible software features such as a new hand replayer, fully integrated missions and loyalty scheme, improved graphics and multi-tabling options on mobile and tablet, to non-visible improvements to the back-end functionality and overall stability of the client.

On December 1st, when players open the Unibet Poker software, they will automatically be prompted to update their software.

RECORD GROWTH AND INVESTMENT

Unibet Poker have seen tremendous recent growth, highlighted by a staggering 65% year on year increase in revenue in Q3 2016. Expectations are high for the impact of the new client, and Unibet have made, and will continue to make, significant investment to grow their player base and the poker category. Unibet Poker 2.0 is just one piece of the puzzle.

'AROUND THE WORLD' PROMOTIONAL RAFFLE

Coinciding with the new software launch is Unibet's biggest ever poker promotion - Around the World. The aforementioned major prize of a business class 28-day trip for two, to visit the Seven Wonders of the World is valued at over €35,000, with 33 other players winning once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences and 1,000 players in total walking away with prizes including tournament and cash game tickets, laptops and Unibet Open packages. The entire promotion will see more than €250,000 awarded.

The major prize and all other prize winners will be announced via live stream on Unibet's official Twitch.tv channel on January 7th at 16:00 CET.

Gold, silver and bronze raffle tickets will be awarded randomly to Unibet Poker cash game players from December 1st until December 31st. Each type of raffle ticket has corresponding prizes, and every ticket holder will be a winner.
